The JALTCALL SIG is pleased to announce a limited number of scholarships for the upcoming JALTCALL 2017 conference. Scholarships will cover conference registration fee and networking reception (transportation or accommodation is not covered). JALT or JALTCALL SIG membership is not a requirement for receiving a scholarship, and it is available to those who are presenting and those who are not. If you would like to attend the conference but do not receive institutional support, we encourage you to apply for one of the scholarships by submitting your name in an email with the subject heading “JALTCALL2017 Scholarship” to conference@jaltcall.org with a brief explanation of why you are eligible for the scholarship (50 words or less). Only one submission per person will be accepted and you must not have received a scholarship to attend a JALTCALL conference in the past. The deadline for applications is 11:59 pm Japan time on April 30. We will use a randomizer to determine the recipients and will announce the winners by May 2.
